Prey - How To Choose Wisely
From the moment of awakening, looking at anyone suddenly becomes completely different, you are not just looking at a person… you are looking at prey.
Now I use the word prey but in most cases they are not the “prey” that you think I am talking about. I use “prey” because, yes you are a hunter, you are feeding, and they are being fed upon; but as for the use of the word prey that is as far as it goes. In most cases, for a lot of Psi Vampires, the prey don not even know they being preyed upon.
“Why does it matter who I feed on?”
There are many reasons why who you chose to feed from is important - especially for Sanguines.
For a Sanguine choosing their prey is extremely important. The first aspect, and one of the most important, of choosing a donor is to make sure it is consensual. Having your donor sign a consent form is never a bad idea, in most places bloodletting is considered a form of assault, and therefore legally important that you make sure it is consensual. The next extremely important thing to keep in mind when choosing a donor is to make sure they have been tested for blood transferable diseases. Do not feed from a donor who has not been tested. The last thing you want is to get a disease by feeding from someone. Keep those two factors as the main concern when choosing your donor or prey.
