Psi Vampires
These Vampires feed off life-force through psychic means. There are many different ways of doing this and each distinguishes what type of Psi Vampire you are. Some can feed in any of these ways, some only a few and some just one.
There are empathy Vampires.
Empathy Vampires are those who feed off the emotions of those around him, or her, either negative or positive. There are some empathy Vampires who can only feed off the negative, some Vampires call them “chaos” Vampires, since they have a habit of stirring up negative emotions to feed off.
Another type of Psi vamp are sexual Vampires.
These Vampires feed off the immense amount of energies released freely through sex; particularly an orgasm. Orgasms being an extremely easy way to consume a large quantity of energy from a single person without making them feel drained.
There are also what is called “soul Vampires.”
Soul Vampires are those who seem to consume pieces of a prey's persona or soul. After feeding on them as a normal Psi would they soon can recall memories, and talents and desires from the target individual.
Yet another type of Vampire are called astral Vampires.
These are Vampires who are proficient enough with magick to travel to the astral realm and learn to feed off the pure energy beings that inhabit it. These Vampires are usually Sorcerers who have learned to feed off the astral beings in their astral journeys; or even have learned to feed off of people while astral projecting.
The last type of Psi vamp, is an elemental Vampire.
These Vampires can feed off the raw energies that lay dormant (or in cases like waterfalls or lightning storms - give off huge power) in nature. A truly powerful form of feeding; although some say it tends to set the Vampire's mood to whatever the element they are feeding on.
This covers the different types of Vampire. Through a little experimenting after you have learned how to feed, and also how to use some magickal techniques, it should be fairly easy to determine which type you are. Remember that a Psi can never “turn” into a Sanguine.
