Sanguine Vampires
Sanguine Vampires can only be born. If you are not born a Sanguine, you can drink all the blood in the world, but still will not get what a Sanguine Vampire gets from it. Sanguines can consume the life force that blood contains. Most Sanguines are only capable of taking life force through blood but some are capable of feeding like a Psi Vampire; although this is extremely rare.
There are also Sanguines with genetic hemophagism; a condition which allows them to digest essential nutrients from blood which an average human cannot. This, combined with the consumption of life-force, makes these Vampires extremely proficient at maintaining the energy they cannot produce themselves.
