The Astral Plane - Part 1
This section of the book is mostly pointed towards Psi Vampires; mainly for the fact that a Psi Vampire capable of traveling through the astral plane at night can get his food source in his sleep. This decreases the chances of more people finding out his true nature or even hurting someone from over feeding.
The astral plane is another plane of existence populated by creatures made of pure energy with some representing different elements. Some are the astral form of what people describe as angels, spirits, demons and even gods. This plane is difficult to get to but access can be learned.
The easiest way to get into the astral plane is through lucid dreaming. This can be achieved via several different methods which we will describe; but we highly recommend that you read more on the subject and experiment with it yourself. Everything is different and experienced differently for each individual.
First of all you should start keeping a dream journal, describing your dreams, lucid adventures and any astral beings you have come into contact with. This journal will make remembering things afterward possible; as well as helping you to learn how to lucid dream easier.
Once you have had about a good two weeks of dreams written down you should now be able to tell a similarity with each dream. It can be anything: perhaps a particular person is always in your dream or you always end up at a certain place. Either way everyone has one or more similarities in their dreams.
Once you have figured out what yours is, each night before you fall asleep, repeat it in your head over and over again; you will start to know you are dreaming when you see your particular similarity. Now it might not work the first few times but eventually it will; even then you might wake-up from the excitement of being lucid within your dream. This is okay - it happens. You will soon learn to get over it and will stay lucid and stable. Now when you start to be able to lucid dream this is when you should start doing reality checks.
