Witches and Sorcerers – Part 1
Through reading this it is our sincere hope to introduce you to our kind and guide you along your path more smoothly. Though it may seem like you are the only person out there like yourself I assure you there is more. Not just Vampires but all the supernatural exists in some way or another. There are Witches, Sorcerers and “other-kin”.
Witches and Sorcerers have over the years been given a tarnished name and past. With stories of blood orgies, child sacrifice and the like it is no wonder their kind were always hunted down. Though some of those stories probably have some fact behind them the real truth could not be further from those stories. Witches and Sorcerers have been around for thousands of years. The earliest known being village shamans and witch doctors; using a blend of semi-herbal remedies and superstitions to create a system to base all magick off.
Next came the Egyptians and their Sorcerers. Back in the height of the early Egyptian Kingdom those that were taught by Hermes “the master of masters” were honored by all. Hermes created the hermetic system of magick still in use today by many different groups and individuals. Through history different theories, grimoires and spells have been taught, discussed and thrown aside; though the general principle of how magick works had held through all the years of superstitious systems and organizations. With the advent of the modern age the ability to freely practice magick has enabled many to finally study the true depth of what magick really is and how simple it is to wield. Though there are many types of magick, and many different groups who use it, most are still referred to as Witches or Sorcerers. Treat them all with respect and never attempt to feed off them even if it is consensual.
